Dr Zaharuddin Rahmat @ Mohd.Rawi completed his undergraduate (MBBS) and post-graduate studies, Master in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MObGyn) University of Malaya in 1998 & 2006 respectively. He obtained his membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (MRCOG) London in 2007 and admission as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRCOG) London in 2021. Dr Zaharuddin is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (FACOG) USA since 2021.

As a certified colposcopist (diagnosis & therapeutic) from the British Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology (BSCCP/RCOG) UK, Dr Zaharuddin provides assessment and management related to abnormal Pap smear results and cervical conditions, including procedures such as cervical biopsy and cone biopsy/LLETZ/LEEP.

He is also a certified GynaeOncologist, CGO from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (Certificate of Completion for Fellowship (Subspeciality) Training in GynaeOncology, CCST), and provides clinical management for gynaecological cancers including cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancers.

Dr Zaharuddin passed a professional examination and became a Certified GynaeOncologist by the European Board, European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO).

His clinical interests cover a range of gynaecological and obstetric services, which include gynaeoncology (women’s cancer), colposcopy, laparoscopy (key-hole surgery), gynaecological conditions (such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis), abnormal menstrual patterns, complex surgeries, and general obstetric cases. The former Senior Medical Lecturer from University of Malaya is still actively involved in conducting courses, seminars, and talks to undergraduate and post-graduate students as well as medical practitioners.
